~ Avatar and signatures
Avatar size has been set at 150 x 150 pixels. If you try to use one larger than those set parameters, the image will distort. Also, please try to keep the avatars under 40kb (this includes animated avatars), otherwise it makes it hard on those poor souls with dialup. Signatures should be no larger than 200 by 550 pixels, including text. As a guideline, allow 20 pixels for each line of text. If avatars or signatures are larger than the specifications here we'll delete them and PM you. Please don’t use personal photos of yourself in avatars or signatures.
~ Jokes and humor
Let's face it, sometimes these boys just ask to have jokes and funny things said about them. However, please remember that people reading your posts don't have the benefit of seeing your expressions or hearing your tone of voice. Something intended to be humorous can give the wrong impression. If you're not sure how something will go over, please don't post it.
~ Post in English
We have members from all over the world, and many speak multiple languages, but if you cannot understand or post in English, it may be better for you to continue as a guest. We'll give some leeway to those for whom English is a second language, but please, it needs to be readable. (We expect more from the native English speakers!)

Please don't go overboard on the smilies or post in oversized lettering. It only stretches your post out and makes it seem like you really don't have anything to say at all.
